What's the most important thing to you? We believe the way God has called us to do ministry is so important that we are willing to dedicate our lives to it. However, we would never dedicate our lives to this if we did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ loves you so much that He gave up all of the glory of heaven to be born in human flesh, live a sinless life, and die a cruel death on the cross for YOU! He didn't die so you could go to church the rest of your life. He didn't even die so you would "be good" the rest of your life. Jesus Christ died so that we may be brought into a right relationship with Him. You see, sin did a terrible thing. It separated us from God. For years, man has been trying to get right with God by being religious, doing good deeds, and living a moral life, but these always fall short (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, we deserve to die and be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23), but there is a wonderful side to all of this. God gave us a gift, His Son Jesus Christ. Through this free gift, we are able to have a relationship with God (Ephesians 2:8-9). The Bible tells us that when we receive this gift we also receive a special relationship with God. When we enter into that right relationship with God, we receive the full rights as sons and/or daughters of the King (Galatians 4:5). HOW AMAZING! We receive every blessing, every promise God made to His son, Jesus. The last thing we want to share is how to receive this gift. There is no magic formula, no special prayer you must say. To answer how to receive Christ, let's look at Romans 10:9, "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". God's plan is very simple. If you have never placed your trust in Christ, pray to Him right now and ask Him to come into your life and give you His Spirit.
