In the Beginning.... Restoration was birthed from a vision first given by God in 1996 and started its first cell group in January of 2001 with only two families.

The following is a word from Steve and Joanna Wallace, the founding elder team of Restoration:

We are very excited to serve Christ at Restoration.  God has put a burning vision within us to see a church that breaks through the negativity and traditions of men and reaches out to all nations.  We are tired of seeing Christians defeated, marriages failing, and people dying and going to hell without a fight from God's people.

God has shown us that He is restoring His church and has asked us if we want to be a part of it.  In order for us to help stop these tragedies in people's lives, we have to become involved in their lives.  We cannot continue to act like we don't know what's going on or look the other way.

Our desire is to build cell groups of 3 - 15 people, each functioning with all the characteristics of church - worship, teaching, fellowship, prayer, and evangelism.  These groups will be all over the state of Arkansas and beyond, under an umbrella of support from a team of leaders.  Eventually, we hope to have statewide Reunion celebrations  with thousands!  Can it be done?  God said it can!

God desires for you to be part of a church that believes all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us.  God wants us to become real with each other and quit putting on our "church faces" like everything is okay.  It's time for us to stand in the gap and become the church God told us we are.

When our family stepped out of the boat and began walking on water with Christ, we were attacked from Satan like never before.  He knew what God was capable of doing and would do anything to stop us at all costs, but we know that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!  It has been the greatest walk of faith of our lives and we would not change a thing!  Praise God!

We don't claim to have all the answers.  As a matter of fact, now we can claim that we don't.  We want to invite you to take the challenge of a lifetime:  committing to God with us, to work toward seeing the Body of Christ restored to God's original purpose, power, form, and function.

Restoration is far from the perfect church, but is filled with people identical to you.  We just want to be real with God and each other.  Join us in reaching out to people just the way they are and show them to love just as Christ would.  He will do the rest!

If you want to be part of: a church that accepts you and loves you just the way you are, a small group that will welcome you as part of their family, a church that is committed to helping you find success in every area of your life, a church that is more afraid of God than man, and a church that has a vision bigger than themselves, then try Restoration.

We hope everything you see here gives God the glory.  Give Jesus a chance to live out His life from within you, you will not be sorry.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!  Our prayer is that God takes you out of your boat to walk on the water that will change your life!

God Bless,   Steve and Joanna Wallace
